Bunny terms in english!

Anyone know some Bunny terms in english? I have no idea  Are (some) colours the same as in finland or different?

I did read that Kääpiöluppa is Dwarf Lop




Oh, by the way Mini Lop is even smaller than Dwarf Lop. Its in the size in kääpiöjänis or hermeliini. So it weights 0,7-1,3kg

Ideal weight for Mini Lop is 1,3-1,4 kilos, Dwarf Lop is over 2 kilos.

By the way Mini lop is heavier than dwarf lop. Dwarf is always smaller than mini in every way.

But what breed is thrianta? Someone said that it's sachengold, but I don't think so. It has the same colour as sachengold.

So thrianta and sachsengold are not the same breed, I guess that thrianta is a breed that has not been accepted at the finnish rabbit standard.

^There was only holland lop and mini lop (no dwarf lop). And mini lop´s max weight was 6 1/2 pounds and holland lop´s max weight was 4 pounds?? That means, that mini lop is bigger than dwarf lop after all?

have this site wrong informaton, did i understand it wrong or are things just so different in America?

--> well, i looked some other sites, and some of them said that mini lop is smaller than dwarf lop, some other said its bigger.. If there is two "types" of mini lop? srange..

^In USA and in UK they are using different names... Guess the most important thing is to check the bunny's weight

btw i thought that thrianta and sachsengold is same breed. I logged in to bunspace, (usa bunnysite?) and i was searching breeds, there wasn't breed called sachsengold, only option was thrianta.  And when i was in site called petsie (every texts were in english) i was watching my sachsengold's profile, and breed was thrianta although it is sachsengold in finnish version.

You have to look at the European Standard,
Sachsengolds ideal weight is 2,75-3,00 kilos, minimum 2,25 kilos, Thriantas 2,50-3,00 kilos, minimum 2,00 kilos.
Thrianta has more colour, red and shiny, when Sachsengold can be yellowish, more matt.

But here in Scandinavia Thrianta goes under Sachsengold standard, and colour is more red and more shiny as in Continent. If you like to get new material to Sachsengold, you should get Thriantas.
